Unconventional Leadership: Harnessing Flat and Self-Organizing Teams.
Einar is delivering the talk together with Andri Vanem.
Flat and self-organizing teams are often misinterpreted to anarchy. In reality most flat and self-organizing teams fail because of management errors. Achieving self-organizing teams is a journey where a leader must redefine their own role and boundaries they operate in.
Flat and self-organizing teams require leadership to shift away from command and control toward guidance and mentorship, and the creation of an environment where teams are trusted and empowered to succeed.
Einar has been working as a Scrum Master and Agile Coach since 2011, after leaving nearly two decades of public service.
He has worked with a wide variety of private and public sector companies and institutions across different fields — from small enterprises to large international, multicultural organizations.
In his daily work, Einar collaborates with teams and individuals to support their growth and development. At the same time, he operates at the organizational level to drive positive change and support its successful implementation.
