Technical Agile Coaching
For long-term success, it is essential that a technology company builds a strong engineering culture. The software industry is growing so fast that a large proportion of developers will inevitably have less than 5 years experience. In order to deliver software in an agile environment, it is a constant challenge for everyone to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques and mastering the basics. A technical coach can help companies on their journey towards technical excellence. In this talk I’ll share my journey from software developer to technical coach, how my daily work looks like, and resources for the audience to tap into the field of technical coaching.
Lars Eckart is a Technical Coach at Rush Street Interactive. Eager to learn and with his experience as software developer, he helps teams/developers to improve their coding and testing skills, including Test-Driven Development. He lives in Tartu, Estonia, but is originally from Germany. He is a core maintainer of ApprovalTests-java and speaks occasionally at meetups.
