Life of a Team
The challenges we face in many organizations are too complex to be solved by individuals. Teams are the minimal building blocks of any modern organization. Teams are born, grow up, and live and end.
Every phase requires a different approach or different tools. You don’t talk to a toddler like you talk to a young adult.
In this talk, I will take you on a journey to explore the life of a team. Which phases are there, and more importantly, which tools can you use in every phase? You will learn about tools from Management 3.0 and The Art of Teams, which are tools you can use the next day!
People make all the difference in every project. Their skills, how they work together, how they feel, and just who they are make all the difference. Scrum, Kanban, eXtreme Programming, and Management 3.0 are just tools or frameworks that exist to help people.
I have been working in IT since 1997. I had different roles: Software Developer, Tester, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Team Lead, Manager, and VP of Software Development. What I always liked most was working with people to improve their processes and environments.
I specialize in Management and Leadership coaching, Agile Coaching, and Organizational Development support.
I am an active member of the Agile community and share my insights and knowledge by speaking at conferences and writing blog posts. In recent years, I was invited to TEDx, Agile Prague, Agile India, and Forward Summit by Management 3.0, for example.
I published the book “Doing It – Management 3.0 Experiences. The first book about Management 3.0 Experiences”, besides the books Jurgen Appelo wrote. I publish the book “40+ Ideas to Spice Up Your Retrospective” and “The Art of Teams.” The books are more than 15.000 downloaded.
